Aim and Scope
Formerly Journal
of Economics and Administrative Studies,
now edited by Muzaffer Bodur, Fikret Adaman
and Kemal Kirşçi, Boğaziçi Journal (ISSN:1300-9583)
is a multi-disciplinary, bi-annual journal
with an emphasis on the problems of contemporary
Turkey. Manuscripts are welcomed from a
variety of social science disciplines including
economics, management and organizational
studies, political science and international
relations, sociology, social anthropology,
social demography and social psychology.
With its well-established referee system,
the Journal continues to aim for high academic
standards and seeks to establish itself
as a leading outlet for scholarship dealing
with economic, social, political and institutional
change in modern Turkey. Major attention
is also given to Turkey's external relations
including relations with Europe, the Balkans,
the Black Sea region and Central Asia as
well as the Middle East. The Journal is
currently indexed in the Middle East Journal,
International Development Abstracts, and
Geographical Abstracts: Human Geography
and GEOBASE, Ultrich's Periodicals Directory
and European Directory 'EUROsource'.
Boğaziçi Journal
includes both free articles and symposia.
In addition to standard articles, a section
is devoted to review articles and book reviews.
Manuscripts which fall within the scope
of the Journal are welcomed. Only manuscripts
in English are accepted. Before submitting
a manuscript please see the "Notes
for Contributors" in the following
pages.
Boğaziçi Journal
