Application Requirements for Ph.D. Program in Management

Total quota for Ph.D. Program in Management is 12 students.

An application form must be filled out.

1. Min. GPA of 3.00 / 4.00 (MBA degree)
2. GMAT score card and GMAT score ≥ 600 (Photocopy or student-copy will not be accepted).
3. ALES score card and ALES ≥ 75 (Photocopy will not be accepted). This is not required for foreigners.
4. Proof of English proficiency (accepted exams and minimum scores)
• B.Ü. Proficiency;
• TOEFL ≥ 550, writing ≥ 4.5 (paper-based exam);
• TOEFL ≥ 213, writing ≥ 4.5 (computer-based exam);
• TOEFL IBT ≥ 79, writing ≥ 24;
• IELTS ≥ 7.0
5. Two recommendation letters.(Also required for Bogazici Graduates)
6. Written and oral evaluation
7. MBA degree (graduates of non-MBA programs will be accepted to a preparation class)
8. Statement of purpose
9. Official Transcript

Additional Application Requirements for Ph.D. Program in Management for Ph.D. Applicants concerning YÖK Title 35

1. To be ranked in the top 20 percentile in ALES Examination.
